Where you're starting from

When a new partner comes to us, they're in 1 of 2 spots.

The first; little understood, little built. They've heard AI is cool and are curious how it can be applied to their business. They don't know where to start or where to plug it in.

The second is the inverse. They've tried everything under the sun. They're maxing out their usage. There's 500 different projects and automations "running." And none of it talks to each other. It's scattered, nothing is central, and it's too much to manage, so things start falling off the plate. So they build more to patch it. Band-aid, band-aid, band-aid. Every patch is another disconnected data silo. The system that was supposed to take work off their plate is piling more on.

The whole thing is a house of cards; built on sand.

Everyone wants the automation

Almost everyone we talk to is bought in on AI. They're intrigued by what it can do. And what they immediately want is automation. A custom app, a platform, something that goes out and does the work for them.

I get it. The dream is real. Most owners spend around 80% of their week in the business just keeping it running, which leaves 20% for working on it; new offers, new markets, new channels. Automation looks like the way to flip that. Hand off the 80% and your week comes back to grow.

Automations are awesome. When they're done right, it's really freaking cool.

Here's the problem. It only works if it knows what it's supposed to do. If it doesn't know your business, can't reach your tools, and has no foundational nucleus to plug back into, it might work. But what happens if something changes? What happens when it breaks? There's nothing tying it to anything else, you build more to fix it, and you're right back in the house of cards.

That missing foundation is where we start and where we build up from.

What we build

An AI operating system (AI-OS); an intelligence layer that sits inside the business you already run. It knows your business, it reaches the tools you use, and it does named jobs across both. It's the nucleus everything plugs back into.

It's not a new app. It's not software. It's not another platform to manage. It lives in a repository you own (a repository is a folder system your AI mounts into, so it can read, work with, and build off everything in your AI-OS), on your accounts, and is yours to keep.

Everyone has the same engine. The advantage is what you feed it, and how.

So we build it in 4 layers, in order.

Context; what the system knows. Who you are, how the business works, how you decide, who the people are, what's live this week, and what's already settled.

Data & Tools; what it can reach. Your inbox, calendar, drive, CRM, books, etc. The tools that already hold the work.

Abilities & Intel; what it can do. Intel is the judgment. Abilities are the hands. The jobs you repeat every week get written down as skills (a skill is a saved recipe for a specific job), so you say the job in 1 sentence and it runs the steps, in your voice, on your material.

Automation; what runs without asking. Jobs that fire on a schedule or a trigger while the laptop is closed.

Each layer is only as good as the one under it. Automation on top of a system that doesn't know your business just runs the wrong job faster.

How the industry does it

Ask anyone selling AI how long until you see a win and what you actually own at the end. The answers split 2 ways.

The first is the big build. You want an automation, so they start with a 2 to 3 month discovery and audit. They interview every employee, map the workflow to the nth degree, and discern your business soup to nuts. To be fair, they're doing it because they need that data to truly make the automation work. That audit runs thousands of dollars. Then they build the thing; another 2 to 3 months and tens of thousands more.

6 months later you have 1 tool. It works. And you have no idea how it works, how it ties back to the business, how to grow it, or what to do when it breaks. So you're stuck relying on the firm that built it. Forever.

The second is the snake oil. You ask for a thing, they hand it over, and to anyone new to AI it looks like a magic trick. Here's how the trick works: it's a template they've sold to 500 other people, stuck on top of your business instead of built into it. It runs on their system, not yours. You don't learn anything and nothing builds on it next month. They're charging real money off the fact that you don't know better yet.

You're getting screwed over.

1 takes 6 months and leaves you dependent. The other is fast and leaves you with nothing you actually own.

Our way

You shouldn't have to pick between those 2. We build the foundation and deliver wins from the first session.

Silicon Hills Technology is a hands-on AI partner for owners and operators.

New school business. Old school approach.

Our tried and true approach starts with a conversation. You walk us through the real stuff; how you use AI today, a recent piece of work, your calendar, your inbox. Together we find the gaps, where we can add value, and whether an engagement makes sense for us both.

From there we onboard you. You walk out with the start of your AI-OS; your repository, stood up and yours, and a live Engagement Hub. The Hub is the shared report for the whole engagement; the goal we're driving towards in your words, outstanding items, what's done, and what's next.

Then the real work starts. The working sessions are the engagement.

Our partners run real businesses. A tree company that cuts down trees. A staffing business that finds the right hires. That's their whole day, and it should be. AI is what we do all day, every day.

It takes both sides. You know your business; how it runs, what matters, where it's going. We know AI; what's possible, what to build first, and how to build it right. The working sessions are where those 2 meet.

Every month we block out 1-on-1 working sessions to build your AI-OS with you. Every session starts at the Hub. We look at what's changed in your business, weigh it against your goal, map the workflow, and build the next piece live on the call. And we teach while we build, so you understand what's there and can run it yourself.

Every session the system gets a little better. Then the next session builds on that one. Then the next. That's where the compounding comes from.

And here's what we keep seeing. Partners come in sure they need a big custom build. Once the foundation is in, a lot of those ideas turn out to be skills we build together in the working sessions. What someone else would have quoted as a separate project becomes part of the system you're already building.

Put it together and you get 2 things.

Solutions, without the 6-month wait. Real things built into your business, connected to each other, on a foundation you can keep building on.

Knowledge, without the dependency. You learn by touching it. How the tech works, how to use it better, how all of it connects. Then you start seeing where else AI fits in your business; places you never would have spotted before.

The cockpit

Here's what we're building toward.

You, running your business from 1 seat. We call it the cockpit; your AI of choice (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) plugged into your AI-OS and connected to the rest of the business. You sit in the cockpit and operate from there.

Your knowledge is out of your head. A fresh session, or a new hire, can answer for the business without you feeding it. The routine is handled. Named jobs are skills, not prompts you retype.

You stop doing every task by hand and start directing the system that does. The hours that went to keeping the business running go back to growing it. New channels, new markets, the long-term goals that kept getting pushed.

And it keeps working if we step back.

How to work with us

The standard engagement is where almost everyone starts, and it's everything above; monthly 1-on-1 working sessions building your AI-OS, a dedicated channel to reach us, and your Engagement Hub kept current after every session.

Custom builds are for what doesn't fit in a working session. Automations, custom agents, connections to a tool your system can't reach out of the box. We scope it, hand you a build plan, and on a yes we build it into your AI-OS. Only when it makes sense. Not by default.

Workshops are for a whole team. A longer hands-on session where we teach a group how to actually work with AI, built around where they are today. You don't have to be a partner to book one; it's also a good way to find out if working together makes sense.

We only win if you win

We're a high-touch, value-driven business. Our clients are our partners, and we take that personally.

Everything we build lives on your stuff. It's yours. You can take it and walk off whenever you want. So the only thing keeping you with us is that we keep delivering value back to you and your business. The better you do, the better we do. It's as simple as that.

So we put our money where our mouth is.

Every new partner starts with our welcome offer; a discounted first month, and that month is the only commitment. That's 1 month for us to prove to you we're worth our salt.

If we don't, you walk. And you walk away with an AI-OS that already knows your business, and wins already built in.

If we do, we keep building together.

Everyone has access to AI. Let's go put it to work.
